About Spirit Walk USA

Spirit Walk USA, presents everyday Americans an opportunity to test their limits. Spirit Walks are an opportunity for participants to answer the question, "Can I take one more step?"

The concept is easy: 

• On a specified date and time, Participants/Walkers gather at a predetermined starting point. A predetermined route of approximately 100 miles is mapped.
• When prompted, Walkers start walking and have two minutes to establish and maintain a walking speed between 2.8 and 3.1 mph. 
• Walkers are not allowed to run, drop below 2.8 mph or stop for any reason during the walk, without facing elimination. 
• There is no finish line. 
• The competition is over when there is one Walker remaining.

Men and women 21+ may register to participate in Spirit Walk. All participants must be ambulatory.

1000 Walkers will be allowed to participate in Spirit Walk.

Early Registration (100 days prior to announced competition start date and time) to participate is $40.

Each Walker is outfitted with an Official Walker Bag, which includes:

• GPS tracker and tag
• 1 bottle of water
• Rations (jerky, trail mix, dried fruit, 1 MRE)

Registration fees increase $10 each week (7 days) as the announced date and time approach. 

Registration is $100 for "Walk-Ups" on the day of the event.

Routes for Spirit Walks are provided to participants, spectators and media on the day the walk begins.
